The design of this courtyard garden in Islington was kept simple and uncluttered to maximise the space for entertaining.

On the ground, Weathered sandstone paving was laid in a geometrical formation in the main are with a hardwood deck providing level access from the house. An L-shaped slatted hardwood bench in one corner can be used with ample cushions for relaxation, or for additional seating when entertaining. Stylish pots with evergreen plants as well as contemporary furniture will be added to complement the design, and concealed lighting brings the garden alive after dark.
